CCPI 2023: Media Response

An overview of international newspaper articles as well as important statistics, German press coverage and social media activity on this year’s CCPI.

The CCPI 2023 press conference during the UN climate conference in Sharm El Sheikh caused an international media response. The CCPI was mentioned over 711 times in at least 48 countries. The index was mentioned in leading and prestigious media around the world, including The Guardian, The Times of India, Zeit and Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The media response in Australia is noteworthy with over 287 mentions.  In Germany there were 314 mentions and in India 58 mentions, followed by Morocco with 42 mentions.
